1.7 - Compare Subject Directories and Search Engines - Activity 2

In order to compare subject directories and search engines i have used the services of Google for both. In the subject directory i have created a path going from "Computers: Education: Internet: FAQ's, help, and tutorials."



The purpose of this is to find important information to do with my e-book. Here i have looked into HTML and CSS making - an important part of the e-book creating.




I then did the same search in the search engine service from Google.



I came up with similar results as those that were displayed within the directory search. To conclude - i think that the directory search is best for a detailed search such as the one used here. A search engine is better for quick searches for snippets of information or websites.
